This is a tricky one to describe, but the camera basically just gets out of your way. There is enough customisation that you can make it respond the way you want it to — and not so much that you can cause strange feature-driven lockouts.
Ergonomics are great and despite the camera weight, it is comfortable to hold.
The rest off the camera operates entirely like a mechanical, manual V — you still have to wind it to recock the mechanical leaf shutter, and all controls remain on the lens unless you have a series body, then the FP shutter speed ring is around the mount. Neat little ergonomic touches H5D: For instance, the MUP button will raise the mirror with a single press, but a quick double press will then activate the self timer.
The spot meter can be tied to a specific exposure zone, and that exposure zone easily changed on the fly. Pressing any programmable button followed by the Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back key will take Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back to the page to change the shortcut for that button. A single press of the focus confirm button will take you Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back the focus point, which can also be shifted quickly around the frame with the command wheels.
In good light, the system locks quickly and accurately determines the new focus point; you can verify this by hitting the focus confirm button and seeing which portion of the frame has been selected.

I suspect this may be a physical limitation of phase detect AF and higher resolution systems: We used high-speed Lexar and SanDisc cards and had no problems reading or writing to either. The back also has FireWire connectivity, though Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back of our test machines any longer have native FW ports. There is a small popup flash on Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back top of the H5D body and I generally think that all cameras should have some sort of flash.
Operating the H5DC is a much faster experience than previous generations of the system. The back displays images almost instantly, whereas previous systems took several seconds to display an image—too long when trying to wrangle a model or capture a fleeting moment. In many instances the in-camera metering fell short.
The mind-blowing aspect of the camera comes when you evaluate the images on a big display. But on the other hand there are moments when you just expect more from the image. It forces you to be more intentional and thoughtful when shooting with such a large camera, and because of this it often results in higher quality Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back.
I am using the entire burst of flash, which makes this a more powerful option in many ways than using Hi-Sync or High Speed Sync.
Lastly, there are the lenses. This is a massive difference from 35mm lenses, which are amazingly good these days but still no match for a top-end Hasselblad or Schneider medium format lens. Even the best of the best 35mm lenses, like the Zeiss Otus lenses, are no match for medium format glass. As in the image above, the Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back of this landscape image are crazy sharp.
This image was shot with the Hasselblad HCD 28mm lens. Summing up, combining the shallow depth of field, the incredible image quality, the low noise at high ISOs with the new CMOS sensor at Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back MPthe amazing lens options, the flash sync options and how it forces you to work in a different manner all adds up to whole different ball game.
There is another reason I purchased the Hasselblad H5D setup, and that is the inspiration it provides. I know this may sound a bit strange, but every time I have shot with a medium format camera throughout my career, they have inspired me to work harder to create more interesting images. There Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back something about pulling out this camera that makes me feel like a fine craftsman using top-end tools to create art rather than just images.
Perhaps it is because I forked over a boat load of cash to acquire this setup. This feeling of being inspired by a Hasselblad is no different than when I owned the Hasselblad CW, pictured above.

I loved that camera. There is something about owning a finely tuned instrument with which to do your job or ply your craft.
As I said above, I am not switching cameras systems by any means. When you pick it up everything about it oozes high-quality craftsmanship. This thing is pretty much a sculpted chunk of metal. Even the lenses are encased in a metal barrel Hasselblad H5D-50c Digital Back have modern looking rubber focusing collars.
